Welcome!
We believe Jesus Christ is
Lord and Savior.
We strive to live a Christ-like life through acts of kindness, compassion,
forgiveness, and acceptance.
We invite and welcome all people to gather in God’s name for worship, study, and fellowship.
We assist and serve the global and local communities by
responding to their needs.
We appreciate and encourage each individual's God-given gifts and talents.
Lutheran Church of the Cross sits on the traditional homeland of the Council of the Three Fires - the Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Odawa -
who welcomed many other Native tribes to gather and trade here. They were stewards of the land, moving freely with the seasons with
no concept of land ownership. They were forced from this land by the European immigrants’ desire to own individual plots of land, memorialized
in the 1833 Treaty of Chicago. We seek to honor and respect these Indigenous Nations and pledge to work for justice, peace, and the well-being of all creation.
